Plato once introduced the five regular polyhedrons (the Regular Tetrahedra, the Hexahedron, the Octahedron, the Dodecahedron, and the Icosahedron) to signify the five basic elements that constitute the world, fire, earth, air, ether, and water. He creates a perceptual, and even emotional correspondence from the geometry to the elements, breaking off the ordered scientific principles (with the participation of “ether”). The philosopher’s occasional imprecision and casualness however present a wild and unfettered romance and poetic flavor when observing our surroundings. Inspired by Plato, I adopt a randomly generated form to overturn the absoluteness, symmetry, and integrity of geometrical principles, and fill the five regular polyhedrons with distortion and variation, which present an analogy of Plato's idealization.
