Landing in 3.5 Seconds

Creation Time: 2015 Size: variable size Material: rebars

10 rebars of equivalent lengths commonly establish a seemingly time-suspended field as their various arcs caused by different stress conditions. The rebars are both independent and reflective, thus contributing to a narrative of temporality. It would take around 3.5 seconds for a viewer to glimpse across any of the parabola here, during which period the viewer’s gaze, same as the parabola, gets out and lands. It also denotes the time flow moving, suspending and moving again in the area of our perceptions.
